LETC has provided dislocated worked Services, in partnership with the State of Missouri , to dislocated workers for more then 15 years. We employ a peer counselor and our worker are formally dislocated workers themselves affected by plant closings and mass layoffs. They are familiar with the American Job Center Services, Trade Act, and Unemployment Insurance filing.

This DOL Grant provides industry –recognized certificate training to unemployed/underemployed individuals (18 and over) and incumbent workers primarily in the Information sector to provide career pathways into globally competitive fields.
All participants will need to submit the right to work documents (valid Driver’s License/ State ID and Social Security card and proof of Selective Service (male only) to enroll in the program. Eligibility requirements do apply.

LETC, in partnership with UAW Skilled Trades Department, funded by the US Department of Labor to expand and increase participation of women, minorities, and veterans in UAW affiliated apprenticeship programs.
These apprenticeship training programs will better prepare available entrants for skills needed for today’s completive high technology demands by automotive manufacturers.
