In addition to automotive training, the program places emphasis on strong work ethics and the development of social skills such as: positive attitude, appearance, initiative and the ability to work as part of a team. At Job Corps, students can live on campus while they learn skills in the area of preferred training for up to three years. In addition to helping students complete their education, obtain career technical skills and gain employment, Job Corps also provides transitional support services, such as help finding employment, housing, child care, and transportation.
